Dr. Brian Aw, MD, CCFP, CTH has been practising Family Medicine and Travel Medicine for more than 25 years.  During this time, he has directed four travel clinics in the Greater Toronto Area and is an owner of Ultimate Health Medical Centre and its International Travel Clinic in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Aw was born in Montreal, Quebec and raised in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada and is bilingual in English and French.  He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from University of Toronto in 1992 and is currently a member of The Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP), The Canadian Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and The Ontario Medical Association (OMA).

Earning his Certificate in Travel Health (CTH) in 2003, Dr. Aw was appointed to the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) Examination Committee for the certification of medical professionals in Travel Health in 2005.  He continues to be the Canadian representative on this committee and in 2009, was appointed to the ISTM Public Affairs Committee as well.

Dr. Aw is one of the leading Canadian educators in Travel Medicine and Vaccine Medicine and regularly lectures doctors, nurses, and pharmacists across Ontario and Canada.  He has multiple publications in medical journals regarding immunization and travel medicine.  He often utilizes the media to educate the public as well.
